Positive Impact

We have won an award for social corporate responsibility and the  positive impact we have had on our community and our environment.

Winner of the Sunderland Echo Portfolio award for ‘Best Business for Social Corporate Responsibility

Making a positive difference is a big part of our duty here at The Wonderful Wig Company, that’s why we offer an award-winning service devoted to helping and educating those in need. Find out more about how our clients can get involved with donations too!

NHS Living with and Beyond Cancer Events

We are regular speakers at these events. Our founder helps inspire others living with and beyond cancer by sharing her own personal cancer journey and offering support and advice to the attendees. In 2019 we will continue this work with many more events booked in the diary. Come and see us at these very worthwhile events, posted regularly on our Facebook page.

We provide free education about hair-loss and body image to the wider industry

One of the most important parts of our vision is to modernise the information available to hair-loss sufferers. We do this by offering free educational workshops to any organisation or charity dealing with a hair-loss sufferer. We have worked with many organisations including FACT to bring current and relevant information via these workshops.

Little Princess Trust

We work closely with this non-profit charity to provide the best quality human hair wigs to anyone under the age of 25 completely free of charge.

We provide this work wherever suits the clients needs best; whether it's off site, at home or in a hospital.

Charity Kitchen

We serve handcrafted coffees and treats as standard. Whilst we do not charge a set fee for these goodies we kindly ask for donations towards our charity kitchen. By donating a small fee you will be helping to support one of the salons affiliated charities. Whatever the amount, we always make your pennies count. Last year we donated over £1200 to SHINE, a local charity supporting local people with cancer in the North East.
