Our amazing partnership with the Little Princess Trust
The Little Princess Trust has been helping children and young people up to the age of 24 since 2006, by providing free real hair wigs to those who have lost their own hair due to cancer treatment or other conditions.
The brilliant trust recently reached a major milestone as they served their 10,000th wig to young person suffering from hair-loss due to cancer, alopecia or any other medical condition.
Our salon is fortunate to part of their network of fitters that can supply and fit The Little Princess Trust wigs, which have been made from hair kindly donated by their generous supporters.
In 2020, we were super proud to announce that we were officially given a gold standard status from this amazing trust. This was a massive achievement for our company as only 8 other salons in the UK and 12 worldwide have achieved this status.
As well helping this great company with the fitting and supply of wigs to young children we also widely encourage our clients and our community to donate hair where possible. The non-for-profit organisation based in Hereford relies on the generosity of individuals like you to provide the service they do.

The trust struggle to get long donations to make longer wigs for our young clients as most young recipients want longer wigs but often a lot of the hair is lost in the making process.
Fortunately for us this lockdown has presented us with the perfect opportunity to let our locks grow a little longer so if you’re thinking of donating then please keep growing. So far the Wonderful Wig Company have had just over 50 hair donations of 8+ inches. That’s the height of two double decker buses!
It was awarded for our persistence in helping the hair-loss cause, our excellent feedback and for always going the extra miles for young people in the North East. The team from the Little Princess Trust came down personally to award us with our gold status (pictured above).
Did you know that both the Little Princess Trust and the Wonderful Wig Company are still open and operating, albeit a little different from usual. As a service provider for those with medical hair-loss, and a supplier to the NHS, the Wonderful Wig Company is classified a healthcare provider.
Our special dispensation allows us to provide amazing hair to clients like Lauren who received her hair from us just last week. Here is some of the amazing feedback which shows you how much this piece meant to Lauren in lockdown.
